Project Description
Over the last 20 years, Rideout has delivered numerous one-off drama workshops in a variety of community and custodial settings, for both service users and professionals. The content and topic of these is always negotiated with those commissioning the work, and adapted for the specific needs of those taking part. Similarly, we have significant experience in the development of one-off workshops and/or performances for staff conferences. Recent work includes development and delivery of an online training programme for volunteer mentors at Just Drop In, training in conflict resolution theory for artists involved in work under the Home Office’s Building a Stronger Britain Together programme, and training in storytelling strategies for staff and volunteers working with rough sleepers.
